We are looking to do the big move next June as we have 2 boys (a 13 and 15 year old) so looking to do the move just after eldest does GCSE’S. I have a skilled migrant visa 136 and busy trying to sell the house…….
Closer to the time we would like to see if you could help us find a rental property. however, at the moment we are looking at schools and have found a coeducational school called Matthew flinders which looks a great school and we are thinking of approaching them. Do you know much about the school and if it is a good one?Any help would be appreciated,

Hello !!
We came here 3 months ago with 5 school age children so dids lots of research – Matthew Flinders is very good and has a good reputation but we found that it had no soul – this was confirmed when we recently attended their ’school fete’ and the whole thing had absolutely no personality what so ever ! It is very much an academic school run with no character building to create the ‘whole’ child. We chose Immanuel Lutheran College which is also local and we have found them to be caring, profesional and very giving. We have absolutely nothing but praise for this amazing school who have made our childrens transition from the Uk go as smooth as possible. And the teaching is good too !! They have a very informative website.
